Jenny Giezendanner designs and leads workshops in adult learning, especially in Asia, where she is at home. As a translation consultant she also consults, trains, and mentors teams doing translation into their own language for the first time. Her present focus is on Southeast Asia and its peoples and languages.

Jenny is engaged in projects highlighting local oral storytelling. She also consults development projects in using participatory methods for engaging local communities. She has developed curriculum for work in Asia, Africa, Europe, and North America and enjoys visiting each of those regions.

A native Californian, she studied German, Business Management, and Linguistics before starting her fieldwork. She taught her own children for many years and now enjoys her nine grandkids, when she can catch up with them.
