B.J. believes that people are always the solution and rarely the problem. From fundraising for multiple sclerosis research at a young age, to fighting for LGBTQ rights, to 15+ years in animal welfare, B.J. is a lifelong learner and advocate. As Chief Learning Officer at Emancipet, an organization working to ensure equity and access in veterinary services, B.J. oversees both consulting and training services for external partners and the development and implementation of internal training and leadership development initiatives. B.J. also provides organizational and team consulting and coaching services to nonprofits, municipalities, and businesses. A two-time nonprofit CEO and longtime educator, B.J. holds a Certificate in Public Leadership from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and is a Certified Dialogue Education Teacher and Certified Animal Welfare Administrator.
