"The means is dialogue, the end is learning, the purpose is peace." ~ Founder Dr. Jane Vella
Christine transformed her first career in journalism into a 20-year career in international learning and organization development. She has worked directly in 30 countries on five continents, on a range of capacity building and organization change initiatives as a consultant, and formerly as the international director of organization learning and development for Habitat for Humanity International.
In her consulting work, she combines what she learned as a journalist – how to use curiosity to better understand a situation and how to clearly present information – with what she has learned from her community and organization development work – how to get the right conversations going, with the right data, on the questions that really matter, so people build clarity, commitment and capacity to move forward and meet objectives.
She is a firm believer in the power of meaningful dialogue as a lever for action and change. She applies the principles and practices of Dialogue Education™ in all her teaching and consulting work and has discovered their relevance across many cultures.
Christine has lived in Latin America for 20 years and is fluent in English and Spanish.

Christine lives in Costa Rica with her husband Steve and her two children, Jordan, 18 (currently at university) and Max, 15. Although she has lived there for 17 years, she is still exploring the beaches, mountains and jungles of this beautiful country - in boots, bikes or jeep - and there is still lots more discovering!
Chris' very intentional approach added tremendous value and resulted in a solid design process. She is also an excellent facilitator and it was a real pleasure to work with her in co-delivering the workshop.
